Observation is the start of verification
ALMA Monitor collects accessible observations of landscape change. It does not replace expertise, cadastral records or a court decision. Its task is to preserve facts in a form that can be checked.

ALMA does not determine a violation or name a person responsible. A draft request asks the competent authority to verify facts and report the result.

People saw what was slipping from view
Observers walked the foothills, marked living plantings and places that need attention. Their work became a shared map.
The map is an observation result, not a cadastre or legal assessment.

Method
The map was created from civic observation. In 2025 participants recorded fruit plantings and territories requiring attention; results were systematised in GIS and areas calculated from mapped outlines.10

The public map is based on civic observation. Areas are calculated from mapped outlines; the presence of plantings does not determine the legal status of land.
